Q. How can I track my order?
A. When Turin Technologies ships an order; you will be notified via email with your tracking information from FedEx or UPS enabling you to easily go to their websites to track your order.  If you feel that you have not received notifications within a timely manner of your purchase, we recommend looking in your junk email folder as the content of sales order confirmation can sometimes be marked as spam.

Q. What type of warranty does Turin Technologies offer?
A. We offer standard 30-day warranties unless otherwise noted.  Warranties can range from 15-90 days. Warranties are arranged and agreed upon well in advance of shipping an order.

Q. What manufacturers do you currently handle?
A. We work with the following manufacturers, just to name a few: IBM, Cisco, HP, SUN, Juniper, Foundry, F5 Networks, Riverbed, Dell Equallogic, NetApp, Brocade, EMC and most telecom brands.  Meanwhile, we also buy your surplus servers, server components, switches, routers, other networking gear, phones, phone systems, PC's, laptops, POS items, bar-code scanners, and more.

Q. What are the differences between factory sealed, new opened box, and pre-owned?
A. To meet the standard of Factory Sealed, the equipment must be in its unblemished original manufacturer’s box with the original factory tape that has not been tampered with, cut open or re-taped. New Open Box (NOB) means the product is in the original, unblemished manufacturer’s box with all original accessories (for example CD’s, pamphlets and literature, rail kits, cables, power cords, original packing materials) BUT is allowed to have original manufacture’s tape cut open.  Everything else is pre-owned.

Factory Sealed and NOB products would generally be shipped in a double boxed manner. 

Q. How will my order ship?
A. All individual boxes or parcels are shipped using FedEx, UPS or DHL.  Larger palletized orders are shipped using a number of common freight carriers.  In any event, two things remain constant: Turin Technologies personally arranges any logistics that it engages in; and anything Turin Technologies handles gets shipped with full insurance coverage.

Q. How do I arrange an order/shipment with Turin Technologies?
A. Call us directly or email your specific contact at Turin Technologies.  After that… we do all the “leg-work” because our main goal is to make the transaction as seamless as possible for you.

Q. What are the benefits of purchasing pre-owned equipment?
A. Companies are in business to make money, and quite simply, purchasing pre-owned equipment comes with substantial cost savings. Companies buying pre-owned networking equipment can save as much as 90 percent off manufacturers’ list prices. With the money you save, you can achieve the objective of improving performance while cutting costs. Another key benefit is expedited delivery.  An order from Turin Technologies can be sitting on your dock the next day.  And if reliability involving pre-owned equipment is one of your concerns, we can put that concern to rest. We work with reputable sellers who only deal in the highest quality hardware, with a warranty and support program. So just because a product is pre-owned doesn’t mean you have take on a risk when you buy it.

Q. Is there a minimum or maximum order requirement?
A. No.  Whether you are buying from us or selling to us, there is no order too big or too small. We take ALL of our transactions and relationships seriously.
